Grizzly Dave Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Miz Grizz is off to pick up pizza, I was stuck under the bathroom sink... So, replace a bathroom sink and faucets, easy peasey, right? Well, yes and no. Old sink out, no problem, it had clips, I understand that. New one, no clips, ok then. Well, lets install the faucet and drain tube before we put the sink in, that's using yer noodle. Got the sink set in, it rocks, so lets use some plumbers putty to even it out, well, that kinda works, really should have just caulked the crap outta it instead. Get sink in, everything hooked back up, caulk the sink, now lets test it out... Leak from the joint of the sink and the drain tube, CRAP. Take it back apart, now I see why I put it on before the sink was in place, under the cabinet it's even more of a pain...speaking of pain...CHARLIE HORSE!!!! Check the washers, there are two, to see if I got them in right, not that it shows you the right way, or anything on the interweb shows the right way, but dang it the way I did it is the only thing that makes sense. Put it back together, this time with some caulk, we'll see how that works after the caulk has time to cure. Time to put the pizza in the oven. Quote

Subdeacon Joe Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Pork shoulder roast, reheated in a soup I made yesterday from the juices of two pork roasts and one beef roast in the slow cooker. Lots of onion, carrots and celery too. And some sweet potato. Some sourdough bread in the bowl, pull some of the pork off and put it in the bowl, add a few ladles of the broth and veggies. Pretty darned good. Quote

Glad you finally got that project finished too!! Thanks for the offer of pizza. I just finished makin' turkey tacos. Yummmm. I'm afraid I'm feeling a tad under the weather tonight so sugary foods don't sound good to me. I didn't bring any dessert, sorry. Hopefully, I make some chocolate chunk cookies this weekend and bring 'em on by. Quote

Supposed to be 45 tonight and 75 tomorrow. Rain on Sunday. This wacky weather is driving my allergies bonkers. Quote
