Four-Eyed Buck,SASS #14795 Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Last night PBS's Nova series had a show on an English proff. recreating Wallis's dam bombs. Quite interesting as he had to do some of the work up from scratch because some of wallis's papers were destroyed in a flood in the 60's. Even went so far as to have a miniature(1/4 scale) dam built on a Canadian lake and had a bush pilot skip a scaled down repro into it from a converted DC-4. Two hour program that kept my interest through the whole thing. the proff had computers to help him, Wallis didn't.....Buck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
