What's a good deal on a new Uberti 1866?

They have gone up dramatically in price the past couple of years. There use to be quite a difference in price between a 73 and 66. Now the 66 costs almost as much as a 73. Go over to Gun Broker and Guns America and do a search. You will get a pretty good idea on price from there.

I bought a 66 from Taylors at Guns of August. It was the 19 inch carbine in 44-40. The only 44-40 they could find in inventory then. After tax, shipping it was right at $900.00. I thought they treated me very well, nice folks to deal with also!

I'm selling my wife's 66 18" short rifle in 38 for $975. It has a cody action job and all the extra bells & whistles....completely match ready. I have a buyer that "says" he gonna' get it but the money is dragging a bit......if you are interested shoot me a PM and he doesn't get I'll let you know.

I bought an *as new* Stoeger branded 20" .45 1866 off the used rack at a local gun shop for $575 in August 2008, but that was an exceptionally good deal for whatever reason.
