I use it regularly when I am setting up new computers. I did a mission project in Peru where I had to set up 8 computers for a library and I configured the installer from Ninite before going to Peru....made setting up the new computers easier because all of the "peripheral" software (read that free software) was installed at one time.

 

I certainly can take the time to go to the individual websites and click through the install but the Ninite installer makes the job a lot more efficient. YMMV
