I agree entirely with the sentiment and distaste for the vast majority of what I've ever heard and seen from Jesse Ventura. BUT I could not get past the "Opie and Anthony" show pedigree in the first frame of the video. Their "jerk" factor (polite term substituting for multiple %%$#s as this is a family site), as VERY negative contributing members of society exceeds Jesse's by a near infinite value. If ya ain't familiar with these unworthy O2 consumers past media outrageous actions, ya might not understand. They are waaaay beyond "shock" jocks. Most try to capitalize on any issue they think they can milk to improve ratings, and by the time they are done with it, it doesn't much resemble what it started as. IMHO, it is better to investigate the real story behind what the left and right pundits are trying to make it sound like. There is some debate about whether he ever got his boots muddy in Nam. I tend to believe he did not. Still he is a vet and deserves respect not a blindside cheapshot. I was at the Crazy Horse one night when a guy pulled down his pants and my bouncer friend showed him the grill of a chevy just outside the door. And yes the guy was commando! I've oft wondered if I could go punch one of our former governors for always trying to encroach on reservation lands (SLIMEY). You would think that the whole rest of the state would keep these guys busy but no they continue... and not Huntsman either he is too young I wanna jap-slap (this what a japanese gentleman does to his foes for those that wanna focus here instead of the rest of the post. Compared to SEAL Teams, UDTs saw less combat and took fewer casualties. Following that, Governor Ventura's office confirmed that Ventura was a member of the UDTs. His spokesman stated that Ventura has never tried to convince people otherwise. Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is," and described the accusations of lying about being a SEAL as "much ado about nothing." Ventura has frequently referred to his military career in public statements and debates. He was criticized by hunters and conservationists for stating in an interview with the Minneapolis StarTribune in April 2001, "Until you have hunted men, you haven't hunted yet." In January 2002, Ventura, who had never specifically claimed to have fought in Vietnam, disclosed for the first time that he did not see combat. He did not receive the Combat Action Ribbon, which was awarded to those involved in a firefight or who went on clandestine or special operations where the risk of enemy fire was great or expected. He denies having claimed to be a SEAL, but I remember numerous times hearing him, as a wrestling announcer, referring to himself as a former SEAL. Now focus on the governor portion of my preceding post who is a racist and encroaches under the guise of the benefit of the state, or maybe he means well by singling out reservation land issues?). I mistakenly thought that only Al Sharpton and my ex-wife focused on the petty things. I also thought that the bouncer remark was much more factual and entertaining... Hell SASS credentials won't even get ya on an airplane and I didn't bring'em up...
