Here is your chance. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2081243/Bonnie-Clydes-cache-guns-set-fetch-thousands-auction.html Article states the 97 is a 'converted' rifle.... Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
The shotgun that Bonnie is holding is not a '97.
Alpo
I wonder about the "experts" that look at that picture of Bonnie holding the cut-down Remington Model 11 20 gauge automatic and say it's the same Winchester Model 1897 12 gauge pump. http://texashideout.tripod.com/guns.html
Wahoo Kid
Interesting that there is going to be a sale but most of the details given are wrong. The "experts" doing the commentary and descriptions are the same ones I've read on many gun sites. Mall Ninjas and comic book cowboys are the source I would seek for information before buying!! Big Jake1001
Sometimes these "EXPERTS" crack me up. They know nothing about that of which they speak. Even a third grader can tell the difference between the two shotguns. Just sayin' Big Jake
