Grouchy Greg, SASS#71981
"Little Jody Rainwater" , AKA Charles Edward Johnson was the country music DJ of WSVS in Crewe, Va., the next town north of ours. I grew up listening to his bluegrass shows and laughing at his country witicisms, like "Always tell the truth. That way you don't have to remember what you said", "Don't worry 'bout nuthin' 'cause ain't nuthin' gonna turn out right anyway", "Remember friends, if you need me, I'll call you", and "Put the biscuits in the oven mama, I'm on the way home", just before signing off. http://www2.timesdispatch.com/lifestyles/2011/dec/28/tdmet01-jody-rainwater-bluegrass-pioneer-radio-per-ar-1571605/
