Impressions of Certury Int. Arms 1897 shotgun

 Don't get suckered in by the (usually) low prices. All I've seen have been a

problem looking for a home. The light-colored wood appears to be from packing

crates, the fit and function are generally substandard, and ownership is most

often disappointing..... and expensive in the long run.

Notice the qualifying adjectives. I'm sure that somewhere, someone has one and

they've "...shot it for XX years with nary a hiccup". Maybe.

The good prices for Winchesters, Norinco's and IAC's here on the Wire would be

where I'd be looking.

Good luck-- a GOOD '97 can provide a LOT of CAS fun.

Lone Dog, I gotta correct you. The Kunhuderin, or however you spell it, is the worst one of all. It won't even hold up a tomato plant like the CIA will.

I have a ( Real Winchester )1897 in very very good shape

19' barrel tight action and shucks shells nice, shoots 2 3/4 and the wood is good.

I will sell it for 535.00 shipped to FFL or C&R

PM me if interested

Thanks Rooster

The Kuandian and the CIA (Century Intl Arms) are the same gun.

Worst piece of junk ever.
