Rye Miles #13621
I just got done readin' "Doc" by Mary Doria Russell. Great book, she mixes fact with fiction but it seems like more fact than fiction. However, there is a whole chapter about how Doc fitted Wyatt with an upper denture made from cadaver teeth. Yuk, my dentist said they did that back then and had some type of glue that held them together. Whady'all think of that??? Any dentists out there? Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
Since 700BC Rye. First the Etruscans, then the Romans. During the Napoleonic Wars, battlefield scavengers would extract the good teeth from the fallen to sell. Sure glad they invented plastic.
