Bama Red Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Our oldest girl's husband, Marc, told me yesterday that he thinks he wants to take up Cowboy Action Shooting and wants to go to our monthly shoot New Year's Day with me! He's a sergeant over Patrol Division in one of the local PD's and I've been working on him for several years. Now I just gotta make sure he starts out with full case loads of BP and doesn't get any ideas 'bout that heathen smokeless stuff (I don't think that's ever gonna catch on!). He's decided he might be interested in Ruger's in .45 Colt or .44-40, also needs a rifle, shotgun and leather (don't know his size, yet), so it might be a good time to check your closets/safes and see if there is anything you might want to sell. I think when I win that #90,000 Life membership, I'll just give it to him! Hafta work on an alias for him, also.

I do shoot BP and hope he will too , as it will make reloading easier and less confusing for me. He is a very experienced shooter and BP in any form will present him no problems. Truth be told, I don't usually load full case except for big matches - monthlies, I download a mite to conserve powder.
