Video: Fun at the H&H Shooting Range in OKC

I had a good time shooting today. My wife has been in the hospital from Tuesday through Saturday, she had a successful hiatal hernia repair. Today my son-in-law and I went to H and H to work of some stress. Here's a little video of some of the shooting.

One comment...that thumb over thumb grip with a semi auto just might bite you sometime. Seen a guy slice a thumb wide open when the slide came back and hit his weak hand thumb. Thumbs on the same side of the slide for a semi-auto

The Woodsman cut me pretty deep a couple of years ago, no stitches required fortunately. When you shoot mostly single action revolvers, you have to remember that you don't need that left thumb to re-cock when you've got a semi-auto. But I do need to work on my grip. I'd hate to get a 1911 thumb.

I'm glad your wife made it back home with a good outcome for her medical procedure. I enjoy range time with my two sons when we can get together....great memories made for sure.
