Sounds tasty, but don't the crackers get soggy from the oil?

You'd think they would, but the ones she made were nice and crispy. Not enough oil to sog 'em up mebbe, I dunno.

Thanks. I read that about 4 times looking for something to say bake them at X degrees for Y amount of time. Then Googled them. A few versions had additional notes saying that sometimes they seemed a bit soft and got baked at about 250 for 15 or 20 minutes.

Might be an interesting way to do walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts too.

Hmmmm.....or chicken breasts, wings, pork ribs, potato wedges ....hmmmm......

I may have a new toy to play with!

Talked to Salty Sarah a little while ago, think she said she laid the crackers out, drizzled the oil mix on, threw 'em in a bag

and shook 'em up good, then took them out of the bag and sorta spread 'em out. They sure were good however she did it.

Thanks Griz. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.

First time I had these, TBone was passing them out at a shoot.

That's why we call them "Cowboy Crackers"

I LOVE THEM

Cowboys and the crackers :)
