True. But then again when I call the females at work a ladies all I get are strange looks and mumbles of "Lady hunh?". There are a couple of classy ones that know it's a compliment, like when I say mamm, of course their old enough to have been taught manners.

Not a trap guys... I promise

My daughter told me she read that quote somewhere and we had a discussion about it.

We agree whole heartedly that the world would be a better place for men and for women if women would let men be men.

I believe men and women have very different roles in life.... equally important but very different.

At least that's the way it should be.... in my opinion.

I'm glad my man wears the pants in the family.

It allows me to wear the dresses.

I tend to agree you with on this, lovely lady. It is a real shame that manners seem to have gone "out of style". My folks would have kicked my butt if I didn't act with what they considered the proper decoram. I tried to pass that along to my boys and my grandchildren.

I was taught manners when I was a kid.

A man stood up when a lady enters or exits a room.

A man always takes his hat off inside a home, hospital and funeral.

He leaves it on if he does not feel welcomed.

A man always says "Maam" (sp) when talking to a lady.

A man always offer to help a lady.

Those are some of the things my Daddy taught me. If I didn't do those things, he would kick my butt into last week !

It is nice to be older and realize that men and women are different creatures, and to be comfortable with that fact. Life is a lot simpler.:)
