Red Logan #12252
Letter to the Men's Helpline: Hi Andy, I really need your advice on a serious problem: I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs: if the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up; she goes out with the girls a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home but I usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight I hid in the shed behind my shooting cart. When she came home she got out of someone's car, buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment, crouched behind the cart, that I noticed a hairline crack in my 73 stock. Is that something I can glue or do I need to replace it ? el Gato Gordo - SASS #15162
Dear Red, This is a serious problem, and cannot be ignored. Under no circumstances should you have to put up with the uncertainty, or with the knowledge that not everything is right in your world. Not only should you replace the stock, but, just to be safe, you should purchase a new, race ready '73 as quickly as possible. You were very lucky to have spotted this before it came apart on you on Stage 2 at Winter Range! Send your wife a dozen roses and a thank you note!
