I enjoy Bud once in awhile...but life's too short to drink cheap beer so it's usually a Sierra Nevada or the like ;)

Very cool to hear they are gun and shooting advocates...

I am glad to see they support the sport, but there are only two kinds of beer in the world: lite and beer worth drinking. If you can see light through the glass it is lite beer and is not worth the time and effort to drink. If light does not pass through odds are it will be an enjoyable endeavor. :D

I have heard plenty of arrogant statements over the years on the Wire, but that is one of the most arrogant I have heard yet. Personally, if I am going to drink a beer I drink one with some flavor. Bud does not fall into that category. Thanks very much, but I will drink an American brewed microbrew, an English Ale, or in the summer I like Corona very much. If all there is on tap is Bud I'll have a ginger ale instead.

I don't care how much money Bud spends on shooting sports, I can't stand their beer.

Considering that beer is the waste byproduct, (read that urine) of an animal lower on the food chain than bacteria, I don't see what difference the brand you choose makes at all!!:lol::lol:

Another way to support the shooting sports is to become a member of SASS.

Not sure if this was directed at me....But I've been a member since October, Rancho Roy, 93544..........But the web site forum refuses to let me change my profile and signature.....

Buy a BUD, give it to the guy next to you and them buy yourself one of those girlie beers that you like that comes from a socialist country. Everyone will be happy, and you'll make a friend......Perfect!

OK...good for you - no reason be rude to the guy about it....ANY company that shows support for shooting sports is alright by me...even if I rarely use or enjoy their products.

Rolling Rock, official brew of the CT Valley Bushwackers, now also the recommended drink here in northern Arizona. I don't always drink beer but when I do it's Rolling Rock. (brewed now by Anheuser Bush, parent company of Budwiser)

Long ago and far away all we could get sometimes was Carling Black Label, Falstaff or PBR. And it was hot. We would buy a piece of ice about 6" square from mamasan for 50 cent mpc, stick it in the bottom of a "jerry" can and cover it with cans and wait...

When we couldn't wait any more we would pop the top of the jerry can and inhale the now lukewarm beers. No pop tops on the beers, everyone had a churchkey. Once in a blue moon we would get our hands on some Schlitz or Bud, never ever any Coors, and then we were livin' large.

I will drink anything if it's cold. Especially if you hand it to me...

I hate their beer also and will drink water if there are no good English ales or microbrews available.

Roy,

Compared to the vast majority of European beers Bud would be considered the sissy beer. Most of us who've lived in Europe and drink beer find it hard to believe people actually drink Bud.

Try Budvar, the original "Budweiser" from the Czech Republic.

It's a bit on the light side.

Beer of TEXAS!!!

Jack Used to drink some Lone Star when I lived out west. Six years ago a work buddy was moving out to Phoenix and needed help,so I went along for the ride. Drove out the southern route and drove through most of the panhandle,of course they are mostly dry counties. Finally got a the Lone Star in Arizona.

We spent two days in Monument Valley and enjoyed the Lone Star and Gods handiwork,a great couple of days. Adios Sgt. Jake

Local brewery here in town called Founders. They do a Scotch Ale and also a Oatmeal Stout that is just killer. But if we are in camp at a shoot and got the bong out then it's coors light, natural light, bud light, corona, miller light, or what ever we can steal from someones cooler.
