Remington 1889 side-by-side hammer shotgun

Recommended Posts

Remington 1889 side-by-side hammer shotgun, a very nice grade 2

12 gauge,

30 inch twist steel barrels,

overall condition fine to excellent, both bores are bright, all numbers match, original finish on wood and metal, Checkering is good and sharp, two small nicks to the right side of the forearm visible in pictures, , excellent working condition, serial number 217***,

This has been in the back of my safe for many years. It is the nicest Remington Damascus I have ever handled. Due to health reasons I am selling off some of the stuff I thought I would never sell.

Lots of pictures available.

$1,100. Prefer face-to-face sale Washington or Oregon, Delivery to winter range available thanks to my pard Mudflat.

Way to go, PWB... now you have to shoot Classic Cowboy with black! or have this one nitro'ed and shoot smokeless. Dang, wish I'd seen it.

Howdy BK,

I'd seen this particular SG when Will first acquired it years ago...and been salivatin' about it ever since.

When I found it was up for sale, I HAD to step up...it's the exact same model I learned to shoot with as a young'un in Idaho. (a friend's Dad loaned me one for a couple years...kept it in my HS locker with a couple boxes of ammo) :o

I'm all set up to load brass BP shells...this'll be a great backup for my original 1887. ;)

Yup my pal Wolf bought it. I remember many years ago when I found it and showed it to him I knew that if I ever sold it he would get first chance at it.

Thanks Pard,

Will
