Franklin
Hello sir, I am interested in that rifle. 3 in Groups open sights?
Conejo Kid #51342
Franklin, I haven't fired the gun that much but when I was working loads for cast bullets I was using see through rings with a scope on top. That way you could use iron sights or the scope. I found out that I'm not that good with iron sights but with the scope I did shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yards. I sold the scope but I still have the see through rings (for 1 inch tube scope). I would be willing to include them to seal the deal. Conejo. Franklin
Sounds good to me, I take it the rifle was well kept. I have a 336 in 30-30 but I shoot flat & round nose ammo with it. The xlr I would site in for the leverevo ammo hornady, any experience with that ammo in that rifle? Also I have a ffl dealer here so that will be no problem. Conejo Kid #51342
Franklin, Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been out on vacation for a couple of days. Best way to communicate is to start with email. My email is craiggarlock@aol.com And, BTW, this gun was built at the same time the Lever Revolution ammo was introduced. However, I've never fired that ammo in this gun. The gun is in near mint condition with the original box. Conejo
