It is lined with a red material that appears to be very durable. End is closed with a zipper that goes only to where the fringe begins. Will easily hold a 50" gun. Widest part is 7 3/4". Case is very clean and a light brown or "fawn" as some would say in color and soft. Would look great with a long range rifle.
