It's parry, thrust, recover, vertical butt stroke, butt smash, recover. At least that's how I was taught near the middle of the last century. B)

Let the record show that I never affix the bayonet to the Three Line Rifle while I am indoors.

(I do have a 63 Springfield hanging on the wall with the sticker on it, but I would never get it near the TV) :lol:

We were told if the bayonet sticks in bone, discharge a round to dis-lodge the bayonet. Hey Sarge, if I have a round left why in the hell did I use the bayonet?:blink: After 20-50 pushups I did not ask that question again!:D
