Was planning on reloading with WAALITE powder to match Winchester's AA Featherlites recipe.

Gun store man says it ain't made no mo. Have plenty of Titegroup powder or could use something else. Currently using Win.AA hulls fired once or twice and equivalent wads like Red 12SL, Win. 209 primers and 1 oz. or 1 1/8 oz. Mec charge bars. Please pm loads for CAS targets like Winchester AA Featherlites.

Think your gun store man gets his news off the parakeet floor newspaper!

But, Clays and Clay Dot are excellent for 1 ounce 900-1000 FPS loads, too.

Good luck, GJ

PS - Titegroup would be very hard to find shotshell loading data for, I believe. It's mainly a pistol powder.

I've got an 8lb jug of that I bought a few months back. It's called (on the jug label) Winchester AA Lite and shows a feather just above the AA.Has the gr's needed to replicate the featherlite loads printed on the bottom of the label.

You can get all the load data you need for Hodgdon, IMR or Winchester powders here:

http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

They do list 1oz. shotshell loads for Titegroup, but I think WAALITE, Clays, CLay Dot, American Select and E3 are better choices.

I don't think you gunstore man knew what he was talking about.

Come see us at Orange sometime.

Yep and it's works great in the 38's too......one stop shopping. Plus when my wife helps me reload I sleep better with just one powder on the table.
