Doc Windshadow Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 http://map.itoworld.com/road-casualties-usa#fullscreen you can zoom in to see the detail of every traffic fatality in the US between 2001 and 2009 all 369,629 of them this display is I guess rather morbid but it is a powerful reminder to drive as if everyone else on the road is trying to kill you simple defensive driving is not enough and some of the heavy concentration areas must indicate something else going on perhaps bad road design or perhaps a place where local kids street race but you can see on the icon for each crash the year the age and sex of the victim and wether it was car motorcycle or bike or pedestrian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
