I think you get the picture - they will need cleaning. Good probability removing rust too

Nope, no rust. But a lot of lube in the seating die. It's good to keep an eye out for potential problems.

No rust here. Just a little lube buildup (ok - a lot) in the seating die. Din't even get any rust in the L-N-L dispenser/drop tube or powder through expander.

I'm using Dillon dies in a Dillon press. The excess lube gets extruded out the top of the die. When an inch or so is sticking out, I pinch it off and put it back in the crockpot I use to lube more BP bullets. I clean the dies about once a year, just because I am obsessive about cleanliness. :rolleyes:

 

I monitor seating depth and crimping pretty closely, but so far, no problems.

 

And no rust.
