DerekM
I am interested in buying a used Ruger Montado 3 3/4 inch barrel in .357 if anyone has one to sell. Thanks Barley Brewer SASS 90538
The Original Lumpy Gritz
IIRC, they were only made in .45 Colt caliber. Respectfully, LG

LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
They may not currently catalog them, but I have a matched, consecutive numbered pair of Montados in .357, with 3 3/4" barrels. They are SWEET!

john fox
Glad I'm wrong in this case and very SORRY Hope the OP finds what he's looking for. Respectfully, LG I believe they were ordered by Davidsons therefore you wouldn't see them in the catalog.
Chili Ron
Pard, The one I saw stayed on the dealer shelf for a long time because it had knurling on the front of the gripframe. Afaik that makes the gun not legal for sass matches. You might want to check if the rules have changed. I just dont want you to waste your hardearned bucks. Its a nice gun otherwise. Happy hunting. Best CR SASS made the hammer in the Montado legal for ground shooters a couple of years ago. However, they did not make the grooves in the grip frame legal. As a consequence, the grooves were deleted on later production Montados. Davidson's lists a whole pile of them in .357 as being available on their website. There aren't many around so finding a used one might be difficult. You can go on the Davidson's website and type in your zip code and get offers to sell from local dealers. Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal on one from a local dealer if they know they simply have to order it and turn it around immediately.
