Snake-eye, SASS#45097
The knife is a 4-1/2" fixed blade with African rosewood handle. Its marked D. Reeves Maker. (not C. Reeves) Appears to be a very well handmade knife. The blade is 3/16" thick. Like new condition with a razzor sharp edge. $100 shipped. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j149/snake-eye_2006/knife2.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j149/snake-eye_2006/knife3.jpg Contact me here if your interested. I would entertain reasonable offers from you if you like.
Pit Bull Tex
Is the fixed blade marked on the other side of what the knife is made out of?
Snake-eye, SASS#45097
Is the fixed blade marked on the other side of what the knife is made out of? The other side is unmarked. I don't know what type of metal was used. It does have a mirror like finish.

Snake-eye, SASS#45097
The 4-1/2" blade is 3/8" thick??? 3/8" is about as thick as the inside of this (-----). You are correct, dumb mistake, I should have put my glasses on. It's 3/16" thick steel. Looks like someone used an old file to make this. All the other knives I have are much thinner.
