Calamity Kris Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 There is a new show on the air about an All American Family who shoots and owns a gun shop in Co. by the name of "Gunsmoke". Anyone heard of this show, American Guns? Sounds cool to me!!
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I saw the premiere episode. It looks fun, but it also struck me as if a lot of it was put on. The daughter is smoking hot. and did I mention the daughter is smoking hot?
Whiskey Business Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Wouldn't it be great to have a place like that?
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Nah, you would never get a chance to hang out here where all the women are smoking hot and all the men are studs . . . and all the drinks are free. LOL
Grizzly Dave Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Tonight they build a 45 for a cowboy shooter, Fort Hays Preacher. They contacted me wanting match video, but for a number of reasons I passed. From the first episode, the gun content is OK, the drama content is typical "reality TV" which I don't care for.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I saw the premiere episode. It looks fun, but it also struck me as if a lot of it was put on. The daughter is smoking hot. and did I mention the daughter is smoking hot? I'll have to check it out, the show that is.
Whiskey Business Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Does the mom look like she's had a good bit of plastic surgery?
Utah Bob #35998 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Does the mom look like she's had a good bit of plastic surgery? Ya think? I know if I had a gun shop there's no way my wife and daughter would be dressed like that. Call me conservative. This seems to be like Sons of Guns with more sex appeal.
Texas Phil Peeno #50923 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The mom and daughter are hot.
Grizzly Dave Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I saw comments on some forum about the mom's "bolt-ons" LOL I personally do not find the mom that attractive, and the daughter is not unattractive, but dresses in ways I would not let my daughter dress.
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Don't knock bolt ons! Sometimes they add to curb appeal
Iron Pony Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 My thought was the young ladies pistol bbl was longer then her shorts. Not a bad thing you know, but how could I be expected to concentrate on guns if she offered to help me? Probably walk out with my gold card maxed out. I'm with you J Mark, bought and paid for or original equipment, nice ones are nice ones.
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Ya mean these folks here => http://www.gunsmokeguns.com/home.html Gotta admit, Paige looks better than the girls in the Dillon catalog.
Whiskey Business Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I saw comments on some forum about the mom's "bolt-ons" LOL I personally do not find the mom that attractive, and the daughter is not unattractive, but dresses in ways I would not let my daughter dress. The mom probably looked better before the botox, lip injections and silicone. I don't let my 17 year old daughter dress that way either.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 This'un? http://www.gunsmokeguns.com/image-gallery/Paige-On-Horseback.html
Grizzly Dave Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The mom probably looked better before the botox, lip injections and silicone. I don't let my 17 year old daughter dress that way either. I would imagine so IMO. Don't get me wrong, I like breasts, I surely do, but when things are so out of proportion it just don't look right to me. YMMV.
Ugly, SASS #18106 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I would imagine so IMO. Don't get me wrong, I like breasts, I surely do, but when things are so out of proportion it just don't look right to me. YMMV. Looks to me like she wanted something bigger to match her ears; she should change her hair style to cover them up.

Texas Phil Peeno #50923 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Are we still talking about the show American Guns with the hot mom and daughter?
Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I like the show. It does seem to have the standard "Put on Drama" that most reality shows have. The daughter is attractive, but she knows she is, and acts like it. AND PUT DOWN THE DOG!!!
Barkeep Casey Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I think they went a little overboard with the explosive charge in the Piano! It was almost death by hay bale.
Grizzly Dave Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I got it on DVR, was watching something else.
The Shoer 27979 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 on tonights show they were making comments on how they would like to break in to selling SASS guns to us cowboy the one the y showed was only $15,000.00. they custom built one from scratch for $10,000.00

The Shoer 27979 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Need a reality show to afford that. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that was coming out of that show tonight
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 on tonights show they were making comments on how they would like to break in to selling SASS guns to us cowboy the one the y showed was only $15,000.00. they custom built one from scratch for $10,000.00 Oh yeah, there's a real market for that.
Deja Vous Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Ya think? I know if I had a gun shop there's no way my wife and daughter would be dressed like that. Call me conservative. This seems to be like Sons of Guns with more sex appeal. Sex sells guns... And Utahs if that was your place you could rent a mom and daughter to dress like that and sell guns.. lol... Just kidding..
Big Jake1001 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 on tonights show they were making comments on how they would like to break in to selling SASS guns to us cowboy the one the y showed was only $15,000.00. they custom built one from scratch for $10,000.00 Since we shoot in pairs, I wonder if they give a discount for getting 2 at the same time??? :FlagAm: Just sayin' Big Jake
Guest Kid Sopris, Regulator, #3290 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 There was more BS on that show than on the SASS Wire....Well almost...
Utah Bob #35998 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I think they went a little overboard with the explosive charge in the Piano! It was almost death by hay bale. "Think ya used enough dynamite there Butch?"
Lazarus Longshot, SASS #44254 Life Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 This seems to be like Sons of Guns with more sex appeal. And a LOT less skill and talent. A "master gunsmith" who doesn't know how to create a firing pin so it works? Give me a break. At least the folks on Sons of Guns seem to know what they are doing. WAY too much drama and way too little reality on this one for me. Plus the 'star' seems a bit obnoxious to me. I watched two episodes. That's enough.
Wolfgang, SASS #53480 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Pre production of this show I saw som'tin on the internet about a search for a location. Suggested contacting White Horse Ranch,.. don't know if'n they did or not. Just another "reality show"
Texas Phil Peeno #50923 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Second episode. Lost interest already. Wake me up when the come up with a good story line. Fast draw gun my behind. I wonder what does a custom pistol from scratch for $10G can do better than a well tuned up Ruger.
