....put some cayenne pepper in some of those shells and see what happens

Been keeping the used coffee grounds in a container for some unknown reason and while dumping a fresh batch in I wondered what would happen if a pinch happened to find its way into a 44-40 case with a bunch of 2F.

CC,

Don't know, but a few years back I tried using coffee and dried pork rinds. I was told that it sure smelled like coffee and bacon when I pulled the trigger. It sure made a lot of people visit the chuck wagon, and was a real hoot.

I expect it would smell like burnt chocolate. Not very appealing.

Now as far as that sugar caramelizing in the barrel........

I have never tried chocolate but have made some aromatherapy bp shotgun shells.I have loaded some with white sage kind of smelled like use your imagination. Also have loaded with several types of incense such as patchouli and dragons blood, also did something with mint.It is a subtle aroma wafting about.
