Grizzly Dave
Been a long week for me, glad the weekend is almost here. But the weekend is gonna be long too. Gotta drive to Colorado Springs tomorrow, MIL lives there and have extended family coming for a visit. Gonna be some big turkey dinner from what I hear. Too bad Taft ain't there yet, I might could sneak away for a few hours and meet up with him.

Whiskey Business
We got a lot of turkeys here. Also got some of the flyin variety, too. See a lot of them around my neighborhood late fall.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Awww, jeeez. Live on the edge a tad. Drag out that cowboy shotgun and bang away. Give the neighbors something to talk about over coffee.
Whiskey Business
I don't think the police officer who lives adjacent would like it much. Might pull out his own scattergun.

Whiskey Business
Maybe let Sarge run one down. He's real good at catchin possums. Don't mind he won't share his possums, but he better share the turkey.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I take it that Sarge is a four footed critter, and not a nickname for Bucky? Somehow I have a problem with the idea of you having Bucky run down possum.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Well, yeah, it might be worth some serious money. How we gonna get Bucky to go for it tho?
Whiskey Business
Sarge is of the four pawed variety. The family dog.
Grizzly Dave
It would be more entertaining to watch Bucky chase the possums...
Whiskey Business
It's pretty darn entertaining watching Sarge go at them. When he sees one sittin on the wooden fence, he flings himself against the fence till he dislodges it, then midnight snack time.
Grizzly Dave
Two Eskimos were sitting in their kayak. They got cold... they lit a fire... and their kayak sank, proving once and for all you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

Flint McCloud 3103L
OK... It's friday and I'm buyin'... I don't care what's traditional... This week, we get thick crust, as big as they make and heap as many dead animals on it as they can... We wash it down with the beer of choice and then have us a ceegar when we're done... Subdeacon Joe
Unfortunatly, I live in the burbs. Can't shoot nothin bigger than a pellet gun. A good air rifle with a scope isn't a bad turkey gun. Need .20 cal or bigger - at least in California. Gotta go for head shots.
