That's right! Blame others for your spending hours following the "related" links on Youtube!

Nice find, thank you for posting.

Every now and then I play the "What if...." game. For instance, "What if" Hitler hadn't chased off of killed off some of the best brains in physics and other sciences?

Thanx for the kind words Joe.

Ah, history in the subjunctive tense ... what if? That's been the start of many a lively campfire discussion. Heck, we could start an entire new thread.

You're right about one thing - if Adolph hadn't run off the best & brightest the outcome of WWII would have been radically different.

Going back further, had Lee listened to Hood and Longstreet and pulled back south of town to establish a defensive line between Gettysburg and Washington, Meade would have been doing the attacking on July 4th and probably gotten the Army of The Potomac smashed to bits in the process.

Go back two years before that and have the Confederates follow up on First Manassas, chase the federals, capture Washington City and the war is over in (roughly) three months.

Hanna Reitsch was much better looking! ;)

Sikorsky looked like Maxwell Smart's boss.

Anton Flettner had his helicopters flying in 1936, four years before Sikorsky.
