If this Fox report is accurate, it would seem much more likely that the ATF/Justice Department was intentionally "seeding" the Mexican cartels with guns they actually purchased (or ordered purchased) illegally, despite the protests of FFLs and ATF field agents. If this is correct, and there was no "botched" operation in which ATF simply lost track of guns, then somebody at ATF and at the Justice Dept. has lied to Congress.

 

Let's see if they take this as seriously as lying about steroid use in baseball.
