Another Good Cowboy has rode off into the sunset.

He will be sorely missed by not only his immediate family, but by SASS cowboys and

cowgirls all over the world.

He has left a really big pair of boots to fill.

Godspeed Cowboy.

:FlagAm: Lamar was the first person I met in SASS some eleven years ago at Doc Hollidays Immortals match. Quick with a prank,Quick with a handshake. Always eager to answer a question or help. A fine man .With great sadness.

He was a real asset to SASS, a visionary and hard worker, and a fine fellow. Haven't seen him since Mule Camp '01 -- where did all the time go? My condolences and deepest sympathies to his family.

I am saddened by his death. But I am very glad that he, and other cowboys like him, lived.

Lamar could give or take a joke with the same level minded sense of fun. Even when we were mad at each other, we always found something to smile about. I sure am going to miss him even though we hadn't really talked for a while. Mule Camp will always be part of me and a big part of MC was Lamar.

Go rest now, my friend.
