Count Sandor, SASS #74075 Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Hey Knarley: The extractor should be driven out from the bottom of the bolt to the top - use a chunk of wood with a hole to receive the pin. Unless someone has already taken the pin out and driven it in from the other side, its not all that difficult. There will be a bunch of crud to clean out of the well where the extractor lives. The hardest part of the job is aligning the new extractor with the pin hole and keeping it aligned while you insert the pin...Of course, maybe any advice from me on that particular Marlin should be taken with a grain of salt...!!
