Forty Rod SASS 3935
October 22, 2011, just over a month away. I would like to put forth my nominations for my top ten selections (alphabetically) who have "Made A Difference": 1. Adolph Hitler 2. Hirohito 3. Idi Amin 4. Joachin "Shorty" Guzman 5. Josef Stalin 6. Lee Harvey Oswald 7. Mao Tse-tung 8. Osama bin Laden 9. Pol Pot 10. Ted Bundy All lived and worked during my lifetime. All "made a difference". I could, with almost no effort, make dozens of lists like this, but with other names. MY POINT: if we are going to use a phrase, let's be clear about its meaning to anyone who reads it. Change the name of this "feel good" day into something that means what it says.
Marshal Phil DeGrave SASS #55202
I was going to say most of the time we tend to think about people who made a POSITIVE difference. But you already said that. And it's true, when you ask a question, you need to be specific or you might get a different answer than you were looking for.
