Denver Don Posted September 15, 2011 Share Posted September 15, 2011 I am asking that ya'll to PRAY for a Good Friend of mine I have known for 30+ years and is like a Brother to me. Johhny Lawrence, he was in a Bad Motorcycle accident last night. SO far what we know is this: He arrived at the trauma center in Baltimore with 2 collapsed lungs, 2 broken vertebrates in his back, bone sticking out of his arm, broken toe or toes, broken finger or fingers, broken nose, two black eyes, stitches from his nose to chin - his CAT SCAN had too many injuries to list at that time, he is in the midst of an MRI, that will tell more and they will report more after they read the report. Denver Don Posted September 16, 2011 Author Share Posted September 16, 2011 I haven't heard much but Johnny's Mom did Say that "she spoke with one of the Specialists today who sounded very promissing." That kinda still leaves you in the dark .... She also went on to say she wanted to thank everyone for thier prayers and support. It is more helpful than you would ever know. Going to copy and paste what she told everyone a lot Easier than retyping it: "Thank you to everyone who is praying for my brother. NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS! They wake him every hour to make sure brain is functioning, and so far he is able to move his head and arms. They put him back under to keep him from all of the pain of his injuries. My mom said he knew who Karen was last time he woke... THAT IS AWESOME! If everything stays the same through the night, his surgerieS are starting tomorrow morning. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS! PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO SO." I it Sound to me like God Heard all them Prayers and Is Watching out for him, So for him and his family and from me I want to tell you All Thank you So much for the Prayers and Keep up the Good Work! Denver Don Posted September 21, 2011 Author Share Posted September 21, 2011 Update on John "Johnny Rocket" Lawrence by CharlesCounty Abate on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 5:02pm Update on Johnny: As of last night (9/18) he looks much better. From CT scan on 9/17 his lungs are doing better, the hematoma has decreased and there has been no change on the aorta (which is good). The aorta has a tear on one of the three layers and it can repair itself. The immediate goal is to wean him off the ventilator. Hopefully, today he will be sitting up in the chair for a few hours, which helps lung function and in weaning off the ventilator. Back date: On Friday, 9/16 he has 8hr surgery on left arm/finger (both have plates & screws), left hand (temporary screws – remove in 6 weeks), foot and back. He has two rods from T2-T12. Johnny has been alert at times and we've passed along the prayers and well wishes from everyone. He's had family and friends with him; Karen, Kelly (sister), Jimmy (nephew), Nicole (niece), Kate, Paul & Joann and Rae Ann. Dana, his daughter is flying in to spend the week with him. His mom and Jaci (sister) have been in constant contact as well. Will provide updates when possible, thank you for your patience and understanding.
