Abilene Slim SASS 81783
Got a text message from my son that he and his Hotshot crew have been pulled from a fire in Southern California and flown to this one in Minnesota. I don't think he's ever been transported that way as they usually drive. They must need a lot of people in a hurry. It started August 14th but apparently grew 80,000 acres in one day early this week. Anyone have property or know someone up there? Pagami Creek Wildfire
Grizzly Dave
Nope, but back when I bought my canoe I had dreams of visiting the boundary waters canoe area where the fire is, it was a beautiful area... Never made it up there, or anywhere other than local lakes with the canoe, wound up selling it as the kids got bigger and had no interest.
Ned Buckshot, SASS #2901
The smoke had made it's way to Chicago earlier this week!

Cascade Charlie, SASS # 48668L
The smoke had made it's way to Chicago earlier this week! Actually that smoke is not from the fire. It's Chicago politics in action. Everybody knows it's all smoke and mirrors anyway.
