Women & Guns Magazine

Complicated Lady

Recommended Posts

Right after EOT my daughter told me someone had interviewed her and took pictures of her for a magazine.

I didn't want to tell anyone until I was sure it was a legitimate magazine.

A copy came in the mail today. It's great!

A good article about EOT and the women of SASS.

I bet you will recognize some other names too.

If you buy a copy....

after you read it, bring it to a shoot and I will buy it from you.

Yep, Lorelei has a subscription to the magazine. We took it up to Oakwood last weekend, hoping you would be there. Alas, it was not to be. But we'll save the mag for ya.

We shot at Cleburne last weekend. It's a much longer drive for us than Oakwood is but it was worth the effort because we got to see both of our daughters.

Will you be shooting the TSRA match this weekend?

The link you found is for the correct website.

They just have not updated yet.

If they have not updated by Monday I will see if I can get a picture posted.

Not only can you see the front cover, you can actually read the entire article online.

Hi there CL,

You must be very proud of your daughter. That was a great article about SASS as well.

I tip my hat to the both of you.

Now that was a nice article on SASS and it was interesting to hear that even after 8 years away the author just felt right at home when she went to EOT. CL, I know you are proud of your daughter...she turned out good!!

CL, we're not going ot make TSRA this weekend. I'l be at Defend Old Ft. Paker, and we're both shooting at the Battle of Plum Creek in October. I'll stash the mag in the Jeep. We're bound tto run into y'all soon.

Is the article written by Susan Laws? If so, her handle is Aimless Annie. She and her husband, Deaf Laws, are being inducted into the SASS Hall of Fame at the Convention this year. They were instrumental in starting the SASS Scholarship Fund.

yes Sir

I just sent her an email thanking her for all she has done for SASS.

I hope to meet her in person someday.

What a beautiful girl! Her beau isn't too bad either. ;)

Thank you...on their behalf

I will be seeing them both this weekend at the TSRA match.

Megan is driving in from HSU in Abilene and Waterloo (Garrett) is driving in from Austin.

I will tell them of your compliments.
