Smokin Gator SASS #29736
Does anyone use the Uniquetek replacement toolheads made for the Dillon 550/650 loaders? And of course do you see any improvement when loading with them? thanks, Smokin Gator

Happy Jack, SASS #20451
I use the machined one with the lock bolts when loading 5.56. I also use the bearing support for the shell holder to decrease variations in OAL. I see improvement in the rounds when using both together. The Original Lumpy Gritz
Stick with the Dillon OEM stuff. IF you know how to adjust the OEM shell plate(s)(where it just rotates "free"). You'll never have an issue. A bearing on top of the shell plate doesn't due a thing to controll OAL, BTW Respectfully, LG

Colorado Coffinmaker
Looks like an answer to a problem that doesn't exist. Coffinmaker

CR So does a couple drops of oil on the center bolt NEVER had an issue in the 20+ years run'n a Dillon. You just got to know how to lube it Cheers, LG

Some years 3,000 to 4,000 - some years 15,000 to 20,000 rounds. Maybe I need more bench time I can tell the difference, and I like it. Less oil in the press = less cleaning CR
The Original Lumpy Gritz
CR, my remarks were to the 450/550 series Dillons I should have been clear on that, I WASN'T I have noticed that the auto-index Dillons do move the shell plate SMARTLY to say the least.
