NCAA Football Top 10

That big ham, Squeaky, is a runnin' and a snortin' all over the place. He is prognosticating the following:

Oregon is going to wing whip those Cardinals in a tight match.

Georgia's offense and defense is going to best Auburn.

Nebraska's offense is going to overcome Penn State's defense in another tight one.

And he is 100% sure the Sooners will not lose this Saturday.

"Bama wood come and rain all over your parade.

Yup, if the Dawg whup up on LSU our parade would just have to be canceled plain and simple....we wouldn't deserve the parade. However, what if we did win....Mardi Gras would start earlier!!

Where is Sam anyway. He's been scarce lately.

Texas Tech doesn't know what truck hit them!!

OSU 49-0 at the half.

I think he is winding his Elgin watch with the gold innards and trying to see how soon the game is

going to be over.

At least there are a lot of Oklahoma players that will get to play that might not otherwise.

See there is always a BRIGHT side to every picture. :)

Wow! What a game between Boise and TCU!! Coming down to a field goal. One second left, and a 37 yard field goal attempt... NO GOOD!!! TCU wins! Another unbeaten falls.

That bogus interference call had me worried - but the 'Horned ones' have survived.

A lot of good games on today.

The insides of my remote control have internally hemorrhaged from all the channel changing.

And there is still Oregon/Stanford, plus a couple of others.

Congratulations TCU - the Big 12 awaits your arrival.

Summing up the Top 25 thus far:

#5 Boise State falls

#12 Penn State falls

#20 Georgia Tech falls

#21 Texas falls

#23 Cincinatti falls

#24 Auburn falls

Looks like OU will move up another notch. It is all coming down to OU-OSU for the Big 12-2 and a BCS Bowl.

Texas A&M and Kansas in the second overtime. Wild games today. K-State has to kick a field goal from 38...Good! Going to triple OT.

Heading for a fourth OT.

And Kansas State takes it in a nail biter in four OTs 53-50. Wow!

I don't know how many games you were watching today, but in 3 of the ones I was channel surfing, the commentators [especially the OSU/TX Tech game] seemed to think the "best" BCS game would be OSU/LSU. The commentators were seeming to base their opinions on the style of football both teams played.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

BOOMER SOONER

I sure hope Oregon beats Stanford, all Bama would need then would be for OU to beat OSU and we would be sitting pretty for a rematch (assuming Bama wins the rest). The Kajun ate well today courtesy of your's truly, but he told me earlier the meal wasn't sitting well, a portent of things to come?

We've already agreed on another lunch bet in the event there is a rematch.

Roll Tide!!

And on a sadder note, for B. M. C. -

#24 Slippery Rock lost to #8 Kutztown in the PSAC Title Game.

This leaves the green and white Rock with a very respectible 8-3 season.

Just wait till next year !

Congratulations

Lunch was good....warm chilli on a cold day and CBB bought my lunch in payoff of the bet...the Cowboy way! Thanks CBB...I enjoyed the trash talkin', the winning the game and shooting on the same posse with you today...enjoyable all the way around.

As far as a rematch it'd not be very likely but it could happen. I'll make the same wager with you on a rematch if there is one. Just hopes it ends up in the same win by LSU over Bama. Let the games begin!!!!

I can see it now. If OU beats OSU (unlikely), then Oregon and OU will be screaming for a shot at the championship bowl, as will Alabama (if things remain the same). It will end up with nobody happy. It will be much simplier if OSU wins. :)

But where would that leave Slippery Rock?
