Tomboy
Howdy, Have a nice pair of ivory grips, but they are smooth. Anybody out there who can checker them? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Tommie

Oklahoma Dee
Good man, Mogollon Drifter. There is also, Alan Harton of Single Action Service, located in Houston, Texas. If he checkers Ivory grips, I do not know, but he is one of the best restoration experts in the USA. He should know of someone that does top quality work that your looking for. Blackwater 53393
Plus one for Drifter. You should also look at Willy McCoy's work at www.cowboyactionguns.com . There are a bunch of fine examples of his work in the checkering display. It is all hand checkered and carved work on wood, ivory, and bone. Good stuff!! Noz
If they are real ivory, I'd leave them alone. Buy some plastic checkered ones.
