These collections came out last year but 10 films for $53 looks good to me as I am enjoying old films more these days that I have a large HDef TV

Clint Eastwood Collection (Absolute Power / Dirty Harry / Gran Torino / Kelly's Heroes / Letters from Iwo Jima / Million Dollar Baby / Mystic River / The Rookie / Unforgiven / Where Eagles Dare) [blu-ray] (2010)

Still no reduction on the other Bluray collections of his from last year so I will wait till they also get reduced

The Man with No Name Trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars / For a Few Dollars More / The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly) [blu-ray] (2010) for $38 is still a bit too much for me

also from 2010 is this collection of his dirty harry films

Dirty Harry Collection (Dirty Harry / Magnum Force / The Enforcer / Sudden Impact / The Dead Pool) [blu-ray] (2010) but at $48.50 still to much for me

First I was stuck with audio cassettes. Then I was stuck with VHS tapes. Now I'm gonna get stuck with DVDs.

Progress sure van be expensive.:angry:

(at least I never had an 8-track) ;)

Had one of those in my '73 Camaro. One of my first 8-tracks was a Moody Blues tape that had Knights in White Satin -- still like that song.

I had that cassette...!

The old 8-track tapes would eventually wear themselves out... just the nature of their design with the single spool. But a vast improvement over Mr Lear's original 4-track! ;)

I seem to recall having a device called a "gidget" that would allow playing 4-track tapes in the new-fangled 8-track machine...
