I tend to wonder why I lived and they didn't. A few years ago, we had a poem thread on here that started with A and progressed. I don't know what came over me as I do not have an artistic side but this flowed as I typed.... I didn't edit it.... Since then, I have tried to write something but the inspiration was not there. I am just happy that I was able to put it onto paper before the magic left me. Please open the link and read it. It will hit home to anyone that has seen combat or lost a loved one to war. I was doubly honored when Utah Bob asked if he could include it in a book of poems that he put together. Thanks Bob.... For those still on eternal patrol.... The real heroes.....
