Boondock Saint, #70146
A while back I saw a thread on making nipple wrenches from 3/16" X 1/4" drive sockets. I decided to make a couple, asked about the thread and was kindly pointed toward it. Well, after ruining a few sockets, I have decided that perhaps I am not qualified as a wrench maker. If anyone who has experience with these would care to make me a couple of them, one to fit a Colt cylinder and one to fit a Remmie cylinder, then I certainly wouild be glad to buy them from you. Thanks, Boondock

Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Hey Boondock: Might I suggest the Ted Cash rachet nipple wrench. http://www.possibleshop.com/s-s-nipple-wrench.html I have been using one for a while--they are quality --Dawqg
Adirondack Jack, SASS #53440
I heartily recommend HEX HEAD nipples (tresso, AMCO, etc) that work with common hex sockets if they are thin-walled enough. The other kind can suck even with a proper nipple wrench.
Wasatch Lawman
For my ROAs I bought a Sears 3/16 nut driver, then sanded the tip flush. It grabs the nipple tight. Wasatch
