Iron Pony
Just wondering is all. If so do they offer the same advantage (?) that bisley hammers do on a vaquero?
Chief Rick
I don't know for sure - but I am looking at that option for my daughter, who shoots an Uberti and a Pietta GW II. Taylor's shows the lowered hammers in their dealer catalog. Not sure of price or availability.
Iron Pony
Rick iirc the hammers were marked at $80 each which seems a little pricey.
Rye Miles #13621
Since the hammer is lowered on the Smoke Wagon would the Runnin Iron's hammer work? I'm thinking not.
Pit Bull Tex
I put thunderstorm hammers in my P models. They dont drop in. You have to grind the back of the hammers to clear the grip frames alot. My guns or nickel .I got Stainless hammers. Over $100.00 each, but worth it it my.I have RA and try to shoot Gunfighter.Love the hammers.
Colorado Coffinmaker
Hey Pony, Give Cimarron a call. They have lower wide spur hammers made for Uberti SAs. Dropped (some fitting required) a set in a pair of my 3 1/2 inch Thunderers. While I don't think I like them, the do work rather well. shenny
I talked to Cody at Cody's Cowboy shop about this 2 years ago at the Convention and he said they would work. Being that he is the originator of the Deluxe Smoke Wagon, what can I say more. shenny
