Buffler Razz Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 I have their 1874 Sporting model in 45/70. It is a better shooter than I am. Never been tainted by smokeless powder. I did play with the front sights some and replaced with a much lower Lyman white bead sight. Fit and finish is good. Probably have 200 rounds thru it with no issues at all. As much as I wanted one from the likes of C Sharps, it was just not in the budget at the time. so far I have been most pleased with the purchase. I've been working with 405 grain and 500 grain bullets from Montana Precision.
