Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Wuz the wings on another train...?
Grizzly Dave
I dunno, we didn't see them. There were 4 planes fuselages on that train I think, too me a minute to think to pull out the video camera, not the sort of thing you expect to see on a train while you're waiting in line for lunch at a cowboy match out in the boonies of Northern Colorado. Uno Mas SASS #80082
Those are 737 fuselages on their way to Seattle, from Spirit Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas. The wing is assembled in Renton, WA, a suburb (kinda) of Seattle. [Edit:] Amos is quick on the draw! And accurate!
Seldom Seen #16162
Yep! Common sight in Wichita. It must be special train only for the airplane assembly as I have never seen any other cars attached.
