Years ago, there was a 34 foot crew boat working the bayous in LA, powered by a V-12 Allison, with counterrotating 4 blade props. But a double Wasp would be neat too.

As my hair has probably been as long or longer than yours, one suggestion - a multitude of ponytail holders. Though if the engine is running and the prop turning - your hair will be sticking straight out behind you - whether the boat is moving or not.

If I can remember to do it... I can normally sit on my hair and hold it down from flappin' out behind me. But ridin' one them boats... sure would hate to accidentally stand up.
