Subdeacon Joe
At the Sonoma Co. Fair I would usually head to the Mexican section and get some tacos de carnias or de lengua. For a quick snack, garlic fries. To cool off, a shaved ice or snow cone. Most of the rest of the stuff at a fair is just too greasy for me. Calamity Kris
We're going to the Fair tomorrow. There is a really good BBQ place that has wonderful tri-tip sandwiches and roasted corn on the cob. I also like the caramel corn. I think I'll skip breakfast..... .

Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
Locally a big Methodist church has a homemade pie shop at the state fair. I usually have a big slice of Dutch Apple pie topped with French Custard ice cream and a cup of fresh coffee. However there's nothing those Methodist ladies serve I wouldn't gladly eat. Their strawberry/rhubarb pie is my second favorite.

Old Scatterbrain
Believe it or not, my favorite carnival food is baklava. For the past several years there has been a trailer selling baklava at the fair. That is the only time one can find such things in this podunk town, though I suppose in this day one could order off the internet.
