Well, if they do a Civil Ware period category, then I'm guessing they should shoot firearms of that period as well—same as the category restrictions for Classic Cowboy, etc..... Since they can't run through 100 yards of cannon balls/shot, musket balls and mini balls on their way to the target, if they get hit by splatter a "field surgeon" will perform an amputation of the affected area using period correct medical tools and technology of the era. And a Vampire category, shooting wooden arrow gattling guns, like Van Helsing. And I think we might need an Indiana Jones category, where you use a .45 and a whip, but you also have to wear a fedora. A Jason Bourne category, where you outsmart the targets and take 20 of them down with your bear hands. A Salt category, where you can use a semi-auto but have to look like Angelina Jolie.
