I ran across a guy today that wants to sale me a 2 generation Colt 125 year anniversary 45LC 7 1/2''er inn the wooden box with the sales receipt from 1961 never fired barely handled I would call it at least 90%

Anyone got any kind of idea what its value might be?..I can not find it in the blue book....

The market is very soft for 2nd Gen. Commerative Colts SAA's and there is a lot to choose from. You'll get a good idea of current market value with a little research, and you may find a better one.

Best,

Recently when I have seen those for sale they have been about $1500. They are often used as the basis for custom engraving and/or refinishing. They shoot just the same as any other 2nd generation Colts. I picked up a consecutive number pair a few years ago and had them refinished by Doug Turnbull. They came out really sweet and are now my main match revolvers.
