For desert I like johnny cakes and with honey or blackstrap molasses, or maybe with a few slices of thick bacon. Johnny cakes have a flavor of their own....have over eaten many a time on this simple but mouth watering dish. The lady does have taste~! Awrighty, them that don't like my recipe - try it first, then tell me how awful it is. Hot from the oven... butter... don't even need honey, but it's dang good if ya have it... washed down with an ice-cold glass o' milk... O Yum~!
