Abilene Slim SASS 81783
The Hueys still live on doing what they did over 40 years ago. My son rides in them periodically depending on the terrain for the fire he's on. photo They do have unique sound. And so do the Chinooks that I see frequently over my house. There's a Nat'l Guard unit with them at an airport nearby. And speaking of unique sounds, an A-10 came whistling over the house yesterday. I knew the sound immediately but it took a few seconds to spot him as he was at low altitude. Whiteman AFB is just east of Kansas City where an A-10 unit and the B-2s are based. Ummm, what was the original topic of this thread? Oh look! a squirrel has crossed my path! I must go chase it!
